Being wireless is the biggest advantage of wireless microphone and because of this; it is getting popular in every broadcast, sound stage production and motion pictures. There is not much difference between a normal wireless microphone and a handheld microphone with a bigger body to adjust the battery pack and the transmitter. They are quite popular and you will see wide variety of models in the market. Contrary to this, the body-pack microphone is like a small box of size of a cigarette packet that contains the battery pack and the transmitter. You can easily clip in on your belt and use it. These are very popular in TV shows as they are used by anchors.
