Teaching students in accordance with their aptitude is originally an indispensible characteristic of education. However, when reading this news, we feel that such behavior has changed. It seems that they are policemen who are screening culprits. We cannot help asking “What are ‘improper behaviors’ of students’ behaviors?” “What are ‘seriously improper behaviors’?” Which type of improper behaviors do “playing truant”, “staying out all the night” belong to? How are they measured? If a teacher takes “playing truant frequently” of a student as seriously improper behavior, he or she does have the need to make a further and carful investigation and know the reason why the student plays truant frequently. Afterwards, he or she can find apt and specific ways to solve problems and persuade and educate the student patiently, so that the student can improve. Why does the teacher tap the student a label of “improper behaviors”? Nobody is perfect. Everyone has this or that defect more or less. Adolescents are during the critical period of physical and mental development, so their ability to tell right from wrong is poorer and they can hardly resist the temptation of various improper behaviors in society. If teachers regard students’ some behaviors violating conventions as “improper”, it will go to the opposite side of education. Take “fighting” in school for example; this can be considered seriously improper behavior. If we look on all participants as “bad teenagers” without forethought and real conditions, and expel them from school and push them away to the society, it is not only unfair but also violating compulsory education law and irresponsible for the students.
