Are you the type of person who keeps on missing an episode of your favorite television series or reality show? Are you feeling nostalgic about some anime show from your childhood? Nowadays, shows and videos like anime cannot just be watched through your television. It can now be accessed anytime you want through streaming video. Streaming video media prevents the user from waiting to download a large media file before watching it. This is because the media file is compressed and sent in a continuous stream. The media file is played as the stream of information trickles in. Depending on your choice of media player and the file's compression rate, the time it takes for the video to stream may vary. The viewer should have a fast and stable Internet connection and a compatible program that decompresses and sends video data to the screen and audio data to the speakers. This program is more commonly known as a media player. Media players can be either a primary part of a browser or downloaded from a software developer's website. Some players can be downloaded for free while others are purchased when their trial period lapses. The media file is normally hosted on a server which can cast the same file to multiple users simultaneously. After clicking on the video, it partially loads before the user can access it. Such partial loading is known as “buffering.” should only be momentary. Such pauses before your anime videos are loaded are far better compared with the hours of waiting for the video to finish downloading before you can play it. The US entertainment industry now offers TV programs and movies via online streams. If you miss anime videos or the latest concert of your favorite band, you can now watch these videos on your own PC through several famous streaming sites. Recent surveys report that 2 percent of all video consumption is represented by video streaming. The number of video streaming users rapidly increases every year. Such websites also contribute to web traffic in Internet searches. Anime videos and episodes can now be watched from a plethora of websites on the Internet. Some websites require the user to register as a member to gain access to their video collection while others maintain free access.
