Quote: ‘A diet is a plan, generally hopeless, for reducing your weight, which tests your will power but does little for your waistline. ‘ By Herbert B. Prochnow In embarking a long lasting weight loss therapy, there are many dilemmas a dieting patient must decide faithfully. The diligent weight loss devotee must face dilemmas with a straight face. There are so many issues that may hasten her weight loss or slow down the rate of weight loss results. In fact, what you about to read is only the ‘tip of the ice berg. True? Enough of the long intro, let’s face the first dilemma squarely. Let’s begin at the beginning. Dilemma Question No. 1. "Should I Avoid ‘Healthy’ Dairy Products altogether?" Trust me, if you eat enough of the calcium-rich food like sea-fish and de-skinned poultry as recommended in my WLM ® program and take a calcium supplement at night, you should be getting enough calcium in your diet so that you won't need excessive amounts of dairy products. However, I am not against a glass of skim milk, some cottage cheese or an occasional slice of cheese. If you really like your dairy, have that glass of skim or 1% milk once a day. Next, let’s proceed to dilemma question number two. Alright? Thanks! Dilemma Question No. 2.’When I Get Up Late on a Weekend, should I Just skip Breakfast?" Sorry to be so direct. My sincere answer is a big ‘NO! Full stop! Whether you rise early or late, all your body knows is that it has not received food for quite a long time. Your blood sugar has been dropping while you've been having sweet dreams. It now needs correcting it fast. That's why you must eat breakfast within a half hour (or three-quarters of an hour, if you're exercising) or waking up-whatever time that is. Eat lunch within two hours of starting breakfast, followed by a hard-chew snack every two hours. Next up. Dilemma Question No. 3. “I Thought Insulin have to Do with Diabetes, not craving. Isn’t that Still true?” Lucky for you! Insulin has everything to do with diabetics- I have never discounted that on my WLM ® 5 Day Miracle Diet program. However, it is my belief that late-onset diabetics stars with years of bad blood sugar abuse. The excess insulin that is manufactured in a bad blood sugar state creates an imbalance that leads not only to obesity, fatigue, poor concentration, and moodiness but eventually to such physical ailments as late-onset diabetes. The insulin that is produced works too hard to try to keep your blood sugar levels even, a battle it cannot win. Eventually the consistently high insulin levels can result in later-onset diabetes which is a condition in which the cells become resistant to insulin or not enough insulin is produced to lower blood-sugar levels. Having said that let’s move down to dilemma question number four! OK? Thanks! Dilemma Question No. 4: “I Overate Last Night, so, to Compensate, Today I 5klpped the Bread with Breakfast. Is This Okay?" Consider the scenario! If only we could erase the mistakes of yesterday! We'd all be skinny, kind, and never without a day of exercise. Unfortunately there's no such thing as compensation. If you overate in one meal. you can't make up for it by eating less at another .The WLM ® 5-Day Miracle Diet doesn't work that way. Remember, the whole key to my program is controlled blood & sugar. The only way to raise and maintain good blood sugar is to eat the foods I suggest at the time and in combination I carefully spell out you. If you miss your bread at breakfast today, you’ll be in even worse blood sugar than you were last night when you overate. The best plan of action? Pick yourself up dust yourself and start fresh with a WLM® appropriate breakfast within a half hour of waking up. Coming next is the last dilemma number five. Though it may be the last, yet it is just as important as the previous four. Take my word for it! Dilemma Question No.5: "How do I maintain My weight without gaining back? Any of my Hard-Lost Pounds?" Let’s face it! To be very honest, just hear me out! By the time you have lost as much as you want to on the WML® Miracle diet, I would be confident to say you own the program as much one of my weight loss client. Like her you would have learned to travel with your program, go out to dinner with your program. It is an always changing, always bending, with you and your needs, your wishes, and your lifestyle. If you follow the maintenance program, I have outlined for you in my WLM® miracle diet, you don’t have to worry. Relax! Remember the weight loss segment of the plan is really a practice session for maintenance. The work has been done for you. If you continue to lose weight, add an extra fruit or protein. If you start gaining weight, cut back on that extra portion. Measure your food again to make sure you are eyeballing correctly. Examine your food diary. Are you exercising enough? Are you drinking your water? In a nutshell, this article can be summarized in the following questions.
