Metal and steel framed buildings are not easy to manage. There are a variety of issues that must be dealt with in regards to their construction and maintenance. One of the biggest issues when it comes to dealing with metal and steel framed buildings is the lack of insulation they often have. This becomes a problem since the loss of energy due to poor insulation can be a pricy issue to deal with. Up until recently, there wasn’t much of a solution for increasing poor energy performance on buildings made of steel and metal. Due to the nature of the materials that are used for building these buildings, it’s not easy to give them proper insulation. Thermal block is a technology that works as a continuous insulation system. It’s been around for about three years now and has proven itself to help with meeting US energy code standards, reducing overall moisture and doubling energy performance as well. The good news about thermal block is that it can be integrated into a system of typical fiberglass insulation. That means it should work with most steel or metal framed buildings even after they have already been built. This is a great relief to many building owners to know that they don’t have to start from scratch in order to have better insulation than what they have been experiencing. It can simply be installed and it doesn’t even pose a risk of additional fire hazards like many types of insulation products do. Indeed, a great solution for increasing energy performance is to invest in thermal block. Sealed N Safe is a thermal block manufactures an energy efficient system that is both cost effective and easy to implement. Our systems are specifically designed to meet or exceed US Energy Codes.
