Approximately 375 million people speak English as their first language. Millions more around the world learns English as a secondary language too. One of the best ways to learn about English is by improving your English grammar with the use of simple exercises. Grammar is “The whole system and structure of a language or of languages in general” and with English grammar exercises you can perfect your speaking in no time. Some of the simplest exercises you can do is filling in a missing word from a sentence. You are given the verb and you have to conjugate that verb into a tense and person (singular or plural.) For basic English grammar exercises there are many websites that you can go to. We recommend those websites that allow for you to type in the missing words from a sentence whilst still telling you what the verb is. They cover adverbs, articles, gerund and the imperative. But don’t worry; it’s not all one big test! You can learn from their easy-to-use guides before you get questions thrown at you. Whether you are learning for the first time or practising these exercises are great and easy enough for any student, from England or abroad. One of the key elements when improving in any area is working on your weaknesses. To find out where you are weakest when it comes to the English grammar practice you should be able to do some sort of overall test, to measure what aspects of English grammar you find hard. When you have identified what you struggle with, it’s probably best to go through and revise that area of the English grammar, before you start to test yourself. That way, when you start testing you will be more familiar with the topic and with a little bit of work often you will constantly improve when it comes to English grammar practice. A really important things is not to spend too much time working on your strengths, they are you strong points and what you are good at so you should be able to improve on them in no time at all. It’s definitely worth spending more time finding and perfecting your weaknesses instead of repeatedly practicing your strengths. In conclusion the best way to improve is to practice what you find hardest, otherwise that are of English grammar will let you down and you will never be able to improve. When you start testing you will be more familiar with the topic and with a little bit of work often you will constantly improve when it comes to English grammar practice.
