I'm the mother of two little daughter that are full of spunk and lots of energy. Naturally a three year old and a six year old are going to be rambunctious little bundles of bliss. Going out shopping with my girls is always an adventure. For sure, easy is not the word to use to describe our shopping experiences. Almost always something horrible and dire happens and it ruins the entire trip in some way. It's even worse when it comes to shopping for new clothes and trendy shoes. It always amazes me that they both hate to try things on so much. Since they are so uncooperative I tried to just go without them but that was even harder. The chances of me being able to untangle myself and get away from the little, sweet devils was a hopeless. Online shopping struck me as probably the best solution to my issue. I actually got the chance to order a couple of pairs of shoes for me, not to mention the ones I ordered for my sweethearts. As growing girls it was actually very easy to get the right sizes. I could put shoes away to be hand-me-downs from my oldest daughter to my youngest if I accidentally selected a size too small for my oldest. Finally, a resolution to my shopping dilemma. I try really hard to be a calm and cool parent but sometimes I would lose it when I had to go shopping with my girls. But everyone has their limits and mine was reached when my oldest threw a pair of shoes completely across the store on one of our final shopping trips. I don't stand for that type of behavior. But to be honest, what was I suppose to do? Trying on things when we're out is completely out of the question, but I do still take them out shopping because I think it's socially important. When they are teenagers, I'm very sure they will grow out of this behavior. The whole shopping experience is probably going to change once they are teenagers anyway. Until that happens, I'm going to order from the Internet in the comfort of my home, having a cup of coffee and not worrying about their behavior. For convenience, online shopping is the best option, no tempers and it's really easy and inexpensive. Once in a while my oldest will actually pick things out online that she likes.
