Before we even go any further, you need to know that it is indeed possible to fight aging, but it may not be as straight forward as you had first anticipated. Sure it would be nice if we could spend a few hundred dollars on a product which could guarantee we'd remain wrinkle free forever. In fact, if such a product existed, most people would be willing to spend thousands of dollars. Unfortunately however, such a product doesn't exist. There are hundreds of skin care products on the market nowadays, and of course, according to the manufacturers, they're all able to keep you looking younger than ever before. How many times have you bought an anti wrinkle cream, only to discover a few months down the line that it has done absolutely nothing for you? Perhaps you've used a cream in the past and seen almost immediate results, but were those results permanent, or were your wrinkles back in the morning? In order to look younger, one cannot only focus on the outside. You also need to concentrate on the inside. If a person is weak and unhealthy, they're not likely to look younger than they are. To the contrary, they'll almost always look older than they are. So, before you rush out to buy the latest anti aging skin cream, first take the following advice into consideration. Nutrients, Minerals, and Plenty of Vitamins It's no secret that we should all be eating a healthy diet, but in reality, many of us are not, including me. Yes, I do try to eat enough fresh fruits and vegetables, but as with so many other people, I quite often just don't have the time to prepare three fully balanced meals each day. Fortunately, I realize how important diet is in my quest to fight aging, and as a result, I take certain precautionary measures. Not only do I take a good quality multivitamin supplement, but I also take a good quality Omega 3/DHA Fish Oil supplement. Furthermore, I limit my caffeine intake, and I rarely drink alcohol. I also make a point of eating fresh fruit at least once or twice a day. Sometimes it's a couple of bananas and a few oranges, while other times some pineapple and perhaps one or two apples. With so many different fruits being available, there really is something for everyone. Aside from fresh fruits and vegetables, your diet should also contain an adequate amount of fiber. I personally enjoy a healthy breakfast, and the great thing is I get all the fiber I need in a single sitting. Another nice thing about breakfast for me is the fact that it's the only meal of the day over which I have full control. Lunch could be interrupted due to work obligations, dinner might be missed because if I end up working late, but breakfast is guaranteed because I always get up early enough to know I can enjoy the first meal of the day. The important thing is, if you feel you diet is lacking the necessary vitamins and minerals, you really do need to consider taking some good quality supplements. Regular Physical Exercise I lead quite a hectic life, so while I certainly do enjoy spending some time in the gym, I rarely get the opportunity to do so. To make up for this, I go a brisk walk two or three times a week in the evenings and I also try to go swimming at least once a week. Other than that, I make a point of using stairs rather than elevators whenever possible. Instead of going into a lengthy discussion regarding exercise routines, I simply point out that that if you want to fight aging, make absolutely certain you're getting at least a moderate amount of exercise each week. With a nice healthy diet, and a moderate amount of physical exercise each week, all that's left for you to worry about are a few good quality skin care products. Having said that, don't make the same mistake so many others are making - only use all-natural skin care products, and only use those made by a reputable manufacturer with a proven track record.
