Choosing one over another can be a very overwhelming task, unfortunately, because most of them offer closely similar things and come with almost equally expensive price tags. Photoshop is quite possibly the most trusted photo editing software out there and has been for quite some time; so much so that people commonly refer to an edited photo as "photoshopped." Corel puts out a neat little program known as CorelDraw that has as many unique and useful features as almost all of Adobe's programs combined. Though it is not quite as simple to use and takes a bit more time to master, it has more tutorials and support materials available for one program than Adobe offers for its entire software library. Select any of the aforementioned software and you'll be working with the best the industry has to offer when it comes time to create.
