There are many types of gophers, however, the pocket gopher maybe the one you're trying to get rid of on your farm. The pocket gopher causes a wide range of damage to several crops all over California. Getting rid of pocket gophers is not as easy as you think. There are many tools available in the market for controlling pocket gophers, which include poison baits, fumigation with aluminium phosphide, trapping and the usage of gas explosive device. But there's a new tool called the PERC (Pressurized Exhaust Rodent Controller) this can effectively trap the gophers. PERC is available nationwide. In addition, when you use PERC with aluminium phosphide fumigation thru trapping it will escalate efficiency, as pocket gophers will usually get caught. In these circumstances, gophers mostly get trapped and are very difficult to catch. By treating the tunnel with aluminium phosphide they can eradicate these rodents from becoming populated thereby increasing rodent control in your farm. Meanwhile, toxic baiting per strychnine, anticoagulant baits and zinc phosphide has usually been used in controlling gophers. Effectiveness of these types of treatments has varied extensively, though strychnine baits allegedly are more effective. The gas explosive devices or PERC have been widely used to regulate and control various numbers of animals, though there's no scientific study on pocket gophers have been stated. Currently, fumigation plus trapping seems to be the most operative and effective method for gopher control. But, when PERC comes out, it changed everything. The PERC system is the most convenient and easy to use; it controls a variety of rodents using pressurized exhaust gases. It is widely used in every state in the U.S for it is THE MOST effective and safe way of getting rid of burrowing rodents. You can also use the PERC as a field compressor for it has more volume than the portable compressors and the pressurized exhaust could help minimize the possibility of fires and a true benefit when used to extinguish harvest equipment's.
