One of the many reasons because of which our garden is more beautiful and attractive, is due to a very magnificent architectural item known as a Trellis. These are the objects, which are made for those types of plants, which require support for their growth and development. Trellises have a very vast history. Man knows them from a very long time. From the very beginning, they were made by man in various shapes and of different material. Some were short, long, some of them had big width, or some of them would be thin in size. Even though these were originated a very long time ago, when it was observed that, some of the plants needed support according to their structure; but until now, they are very helpful and are adopted throughout around the globe. Trellises are made up of many things. Some of them are made up of wood; others are made up of different kinds of metal, and even there is a vast variety of Trellis, which is made up of Bamboo. They are constructed as according to the wish of the customer and depending upon the style and design of the house. They are of many types. For every plant, there is a different type of Trellis. It depends that what is the pattern of the growing pant. Like for example, some plants grow horizontally, so their Trellis is made in such a way that its shape is horizontal to the ground, which means that the plant will get support from a Trellis and will continue growing horizontally. Some plants grow vertically, so their Trellis is made keeping that in mind. The type and material of Trellises also depends upon the place in which the plant is grown. Plants like sweet peas, morning glories, grapevines have different types of Trellis from one another.
