Photography is one of the most mesmerizing forms of art which can be practiced as a hobby or even taken as a profession depending completely on the person interested in it. However, photography assumes multiple forms but in all its pristine forms, it never fails to please the viewers. Good and intelligent photography is a kind of eternal pleasure to both the photographer as well as the beholder. Out of the numerous kinds of photography there's one type that's quite striking, aerial photography. Photography from or photographs taken from the air is termed as aerial photography or aerial photos respectively. Since aerial views are just amazing to watch from above the ground, so is aerial photography because it manages to capture the natural scenic beauty from a higher point. It is rather said to be one of the most versatile, common as well as economical forms of remote sensing. An aerial photo can be effectively used for procuring the best and authentic information or data through its remote sensing capacities. In fact aerial photography can be said to be the first method of remote sensing. Even though at present times, scientific research works are generally carried out with the help of electronic scanners and satellites aerial photography is still in use. Unlike usual photography where cameras have proper stands to support them while taking ground photos, in aerial photography there’s no scope for the photographer to rest the camera on ground or provide a firm support. In such cases cameras are held either in hand or are mounted and they can be triggered for taking snaps either manually or automatically. Scientifically, aerial photography is actually a fine method of fixing time within the structure of space. One should not confuse aerial photography with air-to-air photography because in the latter the aircraft serves both as a platform and subject of photography.
