"You must be tall to work where I work if you are a guy. I mean super really, really very tall. When I first began working as a journalist at the citywide rag I put up with a lot of pressure to compete. As the sole girl reporter, I knew I'd have to prove myself over and over. Letting them get to me definitely wasn't going to happen, that was a given. Clearly, the job required long hours where I needed to be up on my feet running around following leads. Making phone calls to generate advertising revenue was also a big part of what I did at work. The shoes I had were no way good enough for the work I was doing and I found this out the first day of work. Then I remembered that my younger sister had given me a couple of Steve Madden coupons. Instead I actually ended up buying two pairs of shoes. I ultimately decided on a stylish pair of purple leather pumps and a nice pair of solid black ones as well that are very classic looking. The shoes were both ridiculously comfortable as well. I was definitely going to look stylish and professional in my new shoes at the office as well as very comfortable as well. Of late one of my favorite things to prove is that you can be beautiful, smart, and full of tiger's blood. My style is definitely shown in my shoes now. I've been with the same newspaper for well over a year now. Shopping for shoes is more of a normal thing for me now. I'm totally hooked on how well they combine all the elements I have come to cherish: comfortable and roaring with fashion. Sure, all the men are still much taller than I am, but none of the can come anywhere close to the raw power and force that I have."
