Phil Ivey is considered the most complete poker player by Barry Greenstein. He is one of the youngest and the best professional poker players in the world. Phil was born in Riverside, California but grew up in Roselle, New Jersey and learned to play poker from his grandfather when he was 8 years. He worked in sales for a time at a telemarketing firm, but after a while gave the job to become a professional poker player, and wanted something that since childhood. Now living in Las Vegas the city has chosen to establish because of its momentum and because there is life out cash games with stakes the highest. Regarding its debut on the professional poker scene, Ivey admits that at first he lost large sums of money in the casinos of Atlantic City and then Las Vegas, so that once came to sleep on the sidewalk. In January 2006 he was named Player of the Year award which was awarded the All in Magazine, Bluff Magazine, and The UK Gaming Awards. At 34,Phil Ivey is the youngest player ever to win eight bracelets. A record time is only 10 years, he has accumulated. It also won the record holder of non-hold'em bracelet events (all 8). Proving a firm decision, Phil Ivey aims to win 30 World Series of Poker bracelets throughout his career and promises to remain at the top, among the best poker players of all time.
