"When mygirlfriend finally got into grad school in Massachusetts, I couldn't have been happier. It was one of the top graduate schools in the country for photography. She had spent four years getting ready for the school. Talk about her excited and nervous! We were both crazy with excitement when word came that she had been selected for an interview. The big issue was being able to afford the trip which was just another worry on top of worrying about the actual interview. Neither of us could afford to take time off work that would be long enough to make the drive. Of course she didn't get official word that she got in until a couple months later, but both of us knew that she had rocked it out. Just six people get accepted to the program per year. As lucky as she was to be one of the chosen six, I am even luckier to be a part of her life. A couple of times a year I get to go see her because I know an excellent way to travel. Even though we don't know exactly where we'll end up after she graduates, we do know that traveling isn't nearly as expensive as we once thought."
