Never squeeze your cat too hard if it’s willing to get out as this could cause greater problems to you. If you understand that the cat’s eye is painful to the touch or extremely sensitive to light don’t hesitate to take your pet to a veterinarian. Take note of any changes about the cat’s eyes like the texture and color. If the eye is cloudy it can mean some inner eye problem. Pink eye usually has redness in the eye and a sticky discharge of mucus. If your cat has any of the upper mentioned symptoms check up whether it has anything in its eye. If it really has some object in its eye you may remove it yourself but be extremely careful while doing it. In case if there’s something that has damaged the eye or eyelid or resulted in agitation around the eye it’s better to visit your veterinarian.
