More often than not Marijuana is grown indoors rather than outdoors. Perhaps it is the idea of security that is more essential than the idea of natural growth as Marijuana is a very sought after plant for dubious reasons. However when you grow marijuana, you must always be on your toes and understand that for Marijuana growing, light is the most important factor that determines the growth of the plant in a proper manner without any sort of deformities or frailties. Let us have a look at how light plays an important role in its growth. Marijuana initially needs to be germinated in an indoor box before you plant it. At this initial stage of growth you may want to expose it to medium intensity light and a rich soil composition that holds water sufficiently till the germination takes place. After ten days you may find tiny plants emerging from the box which need to be planted in proper soil whether indoors or outdoors. Now the thing is that Marijuana requires specific amounts of light at different stages for good growth. Initially Marijuana will require almost 18-20 hours of consistent soft intensity light. At the flowering stage of Marijuana growing, light requirements tend to decrease with the initial 18 hours of light now becoming a definite mix of 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark. This is essential to facilitate proper flowering as the plants’ perception of the change in lighting makes it believe that fall is near and hence flowering is essential. Once flowering commences and you see the marijuana plant bear the essential flowers, it is time to regulate the light once again, bringing it down to an essential 7-10 hours a day with soft intensity. As you can see while growing marijuana the regulation of light is no mean task. To know more please visit:Marijuana growing, light.
