Ironically, the three people who have contributed to the rebirth of surfing haole were three and the fourth, who had known for the sport worldwide, was a Hawaiian. It's about Jack London, The Famous writer Alexander Hume Ford, an eccentric journalist, George Freeth, a love of the ocean waves. What these three had in common a deep love for surfing, and together, their talents have breathed life into a beautiful sport, but moribund, Sport of Kings. Then,'s surf scene came a young girl named Gidget, which was immortalized in a book by her father, and later in the movie that bears his name. Gidget surf film brought to the attention of the general public for the first time. Soon, there appeared other productions of the same kind, which greatly boosted the popularity charts in the surf. Where once had been hundreds of surfers, now there were thousands. Surfboards were made of plastic now, and were mass-produced, one was radically different from that of handmade tiles, solid wood.
