Health issues are increasing day by day, due to many reasons. One cannot really identify the really reason behind any problem until it hits an individual, and affects him in many different ways. The effects of this particular disorder vary widely from person to person depending on their genetic history, which is transferred either from the maternal side or the paternal side. This form of chromosomal disorder is the most recognizable form of mental disability present in certain children, which the doctors can identify during pregnancy or in a baby at birth. Various physical characteristics develop gradually, that helps the parents recognize the disorder present in their child, after which parents need to take care of the various health related issues that appear after being attached to this particular disorder, like, high risk for congenital heart problems which would lead to beating of the heart at longer intervals, ear infections which may further lead to hearing loss, disturbed sleep issues leading to fatigue and tiredness, etc. Although it is statistically proven that there are various aspects that result in this particular disorder known as Down syndrome in children, which the doctors are further conducting researches on. However, the main factor is, it is more common with older parents, both fathers and mothers, and it happens due to increased mutagenic exposures upon some older parent’s reproductive cells, as concluded by the experts conducting researches related to this particular disorder.
