Medium is the term used to describe those people who are able to communicate with spirits and loved ones who have passed on. By accessing spirits who exist on a totally different astral plane, the mediums become a link between the spirits and the living. The fear that maybe their loved one is not happy or is distressed about something makes them want to find out how they are after having passed on to a different plane of existence. Sometimes mediums are important conveyors of important details and have known to help in investigations surrounding mysterious deaths. What the medium hears and conveys has often helped in assisting to find murderers who have gone undetected so far and also provides a sense of closure to loved ones.
