Air Conditioning Mobility in Demand

Home Improvement,Science & Technology,Environment
Looking for a portable air conditioner now is a good time to do some research, mobile units are in demand throughout the UK, and their popularity is soaring, these units have so much going for them, and there are several factors why these units are in demand.

A portable air conditioner is small and mobile and can be moved anywhere, it is a free standing room conditioner and is easy to maintain, also it is easily stored when not needed, and some of the reasons consumers look to the purchase of a unit is, it is very useful on parts of the house that is not cooled by a central air conditioning system.

These units are a God send in areas such as basements, outdoor workshops, sheds, to name but a few. I hear you asking yourself ‘why now’ the summer is over and temperatures have dropped, but now is exactly the right time to look around at what is on offer.

The layman may we scratching his or her heat and is confused as exactly how these portable air conditioning units work, well an overview of how they work for us not only in the summer but also the winter is what technology of today offers us.

All air conditioning systems create water and this includes all portable air conditioners, all water created by a unit is collected in an internal water tank, some standard portable air conditioners, once the tank is full an alarm will sound and you will have to manually empty the water tank.

The new ‘self evaporative technology’ means that the water collected in the internal water tank is pumped internally over the condenser (which is hot in air conditioning mode) to aid in the cooling process and achieve cheaper running costs. The water which is pumped over the hot condenser obviously makes the water evaporate; simply because cold water over a hot surface evaporates, hence the term ‘self evaporative technology’.

This entire process occurs internally and no touchable parts of the unit gets hot, and with heat pump heating technology added to this means that these units heat extremely well, and is an extremely energy efficient method of heating, and approximately 3 times more efficient than your electric heater.

Portable air conditioning requires no installation it has a tumble dryer type of exhaust hose which is supplied with the unit and can be vented out of a slightly open window, thus venting the hot air created out of the room, and once you have vented the hose just plug in and the unit is ready to run.

A spokesman for Climachill air conditioning specialists based in Sussex on the South coast of the UK said “we have the lowest price on the Web and if you find the same unit at a lower price we will beat it by a further £10, we currently have a massive sale for our portable units, and some prices are slashed by as much as £200 or more, go on line and check us out, we guarantee you will not be disappointed with the price of all out units”.

Portable air conditioners are now mobility in demand and it would seem now is the time to invest.
