Are Christmas bells ringing, and children singing? Is it that time of year again? If it is, your child or children are probably begging you to help them write their Santa letter. This is such a time-honored tradition at Christmas time that I hate to see a Santa letter get pushed aside by stressed out, but well meaning parents. I hope that if your children have brought up the subject of writing a Santa letter that you can find the time to make this Christmas memory one they will cherish. If parents have time to send an email or talk on their cell phone then don't you think that there can be time set aside to write a Santa letter with a child? I hope so. Let's not let these special Christmas memories of sending a Santa letter to Santa Claus be forgotten. Ways to make writing a Santa letter with your child or children memorable include putting on Christmas music for the occasion, spreading out special paper to write on, colored pencils or pens, glitter glue, or stickers to make the Santa letter special. Show them how to address it to Santa Claus or Father Christmas, include questions about the North Pole (or whatever your child chooses) and then after they have written all they wanted, make sure they sign their name in their best writing. Tell them that Santa needs to be able to read their name clearly if they want to be on his Christmas "good" list. Then show them how to seal the Santa letter in an envelope and write on the outside "Santa Claus" (or Father Christmas if you wish). Then address it to the North Pole, Santa Claus house, or just Claus house. Put the Santa letter in the mailbox and away it goes. If you were like me growing up, my Santa letter was not answered by "elves". I just figured that Santa Claus received my Santa letter when I woke up on Christmas Eve and saw my Christmas presents. But nowdays parents are more creative when it comes to a "return" Santa letter, and sometimes more stressed in their lives because they try to send their child the perfect Santa letter back. Take it from me, it gets tiring to try to make your Santa letter really authentic looking and have the right comments, signature, North Pole postmark, etc. It sometimes becomes mind-boggling the trouble some parents go through for the perfect Santa letter from Santa Claus to their child or children. Well, there is a better solution now, thank goodness! Some very ingenious people have come up with Santa letter websites. These websites are a relief for stressed-out parents who could use a few more hours in their day around Christmas time. These Santa letter websites are devoted to helping parents create that personalized Santa letter for their child. You just add any personal information pertaining to your child in the Santa letter that you want and create a Santa letter that your child or children will love and cherish. You will be so much happier at Christmas time and your children will too, especially when they see their own very special personalized Santa letter. Christmas bells will be ringing and your whole family will be singing this Christmas, with less stress and more cherished Christmas memories.
