I am not telling you to use specific brand for the mentioned items but just complete them and make sure that they are clean. Now, there are few convenient ways to melt a solid chocolate bar. However, you should always be cautious with the amount of heat it needs and at the same time, the time of heating. You don't need to be really technical in doing the procedure. Just apply right amount of heat, stir cautiously and stay calm while doing. If you think you have done wrong, review the copy of the steps. For easy melting, you may even try to chop bars into tiny pieces before you start apply heat. Have uniform chucks. You can use a skillet, double boiler of microwave oven when melting chocolate. These three are probably present in your kitchen so just decide which one among the three you will need. Consider a heatproof bowl, one that is made of stainless steel. If you will be using the microwave, set it in a medium power level. Finish melting by stirring.
