How to Convert X to DVD Burner Convert X to DVD, provided by VSO-Software, supports converting and burning more than 100 file types to DVD, including some of the most popular video formats such as WMVs, AVIs, MPEGs and DivX videos. The program must first convert your video to a proper DVD file structure -- consisting of VOB, BUP and IFO files in standard Audio TS and Video TS folders -- before burning it to disc. For feature-length movies, please note that the conversion and burning processes may take anywhere from several minutes to several hours to complete. Instructions 1 Download the latest version of Convert X to DVD by visiting VSO-Software's download page. Click the "Download Convert X to DVD" button for a free trial version of the software. Wait for your download to finish and double-click the ".exe" install file to run through the setup. Enter the desired times for each chapter in the appropriate field. Remove chapters by right-clicking each "Chapter" icon and selecting "Remove Chapter." Add chapters by right-clicking the "Chapter" icon and selecting "Add Chapter." 5 Insert a blank DVD into your computer. Click the "Settings" tab at the top of the screen and select the "Burning" option to enter the "Settings" window. Enable the "Burn Result to DVD" button and select your blank DVD from the drop-down menu directly below the "Burn Result to DVD" button. Click "OK" to exit to the main screen. 6 Click the "Convert" button to begin the conversion and burning processes.
