The world we live in is full of danger and risks. And this is 100% true especially for babies. In order to protect them, parents need to be 24/7 with and watch over them. And for most of the people that is a very hard to accomplish. It is possible for baby monitors to have two-way communication, e.g., the caregiver has a chance to respond to the baby problem from a distance. The contemporary baby monitors have many features. But the most common one is the ability to watch in real time what is happening in the baby’s room. The modern baby monitors have a night vision feature, so even in dark room, it can be seen, whether a baby is sleeping or not. For example, opening a baby room’s door may cause the awakening of a baby. Other new features of the baby monitors are movement sensors, temperature sensors and even build in the transmitter lullabies in the baby’s room. Also there can be more than one video cameras as well as more than one receiver. Nowadays the receivers of the baby monitors are mainly LCD screens or only speakers. Some smart phones have software applications which can make them receivers. Important things when choosing baby monitors are the quality of the audio system and also the transmitting distance. Other things like functions to adjust the camera angle are also relevant. Baby monitors could have many uses, e.g., monitoring home, office, car, etc. Another example is the following - baby monitors could be used to check the situation and reassure the parents and caregivers, even if the baby is being watched over by babysitter.
