It is always hard to hire a taxi as there are various setbacks with the taxi vendors. The most annoying setback is that they cancel in the last minutes. One of my friends had a personal experience in Bangalore. He booked a cab and was assured to be available 1hour before the said time. We were happy with their commitment but shockingly received a message saying ‘Cab cancelled .Regrets. This is beyond repair and really tough to find one more. Bangalore Mysore taxi trip is really good on the NICE highway and via Mandya. Visiting Mysore during Dussehra is suggested as the celebrations are at peak. All the temples in and around Mysore will be decorated for the festival season including Mysore palace. Streets are lit colorfully and trained elephants processions is very beautiful to watch. Apart from temples and places Brindavan Garden is a notable tourist attraction. The light show , music show there are really splendid. Make a trip without missing following tourist attractions in Mysore like Mysore Palace, Chamundeswari Temple on Chamundi Hills, St. Philomena’s Church, Krishnaraja sagar dam , Brindavan Gardens, Srirangapatna to name a few.
