Although it is usually possible to fly to Orlando via cheap airplane tickets or find cheap vacation packages, finding a favorite Disney character can be a challenging experience as can efficiently maneuvering your way through Disney parks. While Mickey, Minnie and Goofy always seem to be nearby and ready to pose for pictures in Disney advertisements, locating them in Disney parks can be daunting. To make such dreams more realistic Disney has launched “Mobile Magic” which is a free app that can improve guests’ experiences via a GPS tracking system. This app helps locate Disney characters, monitor wait times for in demand rides and FASTPASS return times for the park you are in, find restaurants, determine the ideal shop to purchase a souvenir and even locate your car in the parking lot after 12 hours of being immersed in the Disney experience. Mobile Magic is a very user friendly app. It leverages GPS technology in your smart phone to pinpoint your location and displays what is happening nearby. Users can access the app from home to plan vacations. The app also allows users to play interactive trivia games with fellow guests in the park, note a show’s start time, access local weather, and helps in making a restaurant reservation. Mobile Magic is the only official app for Disney Parks and is compatible with most Verizon smart phones.
