Car alarms are very important devices that help protect your car against theft. Car alarms are also equipped with pressure sensors that get activated when the pressure in your car changes due to somebody breaking open the car windows or doors. Once activated, these sensors set of the siren thereby alerting the car owner. Despite the advancements made in car alarms technology there are still many instances of car thefts. Quite often this happens since not many people bother about it. There have been instances where car alarms have been triggered of due to strong winds or because of a pet. Since car alarms technology has not yet reached a stage where it is able to differentiate between a genuine theft and an innocent action, it is quite difficult to prevent car thefts from happening. Finally, with car thieves devising new and innovative methods to beat technology, it is a huge challenge for manufacturers of car alarms systems to stay ahead.
