These Alarm Systems are very essential to provide security both at offices as well as homes. These alarm systems are extremely important in the present generation. There are various techniques that are employed to make these alarm systems. These alarm systems are available in various designs and manufacture as per the requirement of the customer. The employment of these home alarm systems has given a new dimension in the overall security. The most important fact about this Alarm System is that they determine any sort of unwanted and unauthorized factor like trespassing and theft cases. There have been lots of cases where such alarm systems have been able to avoid many accidents in both residential as well as commercial areas. Uses There are various situations in which these alarm systems can be used. These alarm systems are used in cases of burglary, fires and thefts. Such Alarm systems are employed in homes as well as in business offices. It is very important that the alarm systems have a good accuracy, and should not get one by itself. These Home Alarm Systems can be of both wired type as well as of wireless type. The wired type systems are built in the conventional wired form. These alarm systems consists of vulnerable points where such threats can be activated. The other type of system is the wireless type system. These wireless type home alarm systems make use of transmitters and receivers. They also make use of various types of sensors for tracking the threat. These alarm systems are used in various industries for the purpose of detecting the various threats. Such alarm systems are very important to overcome all possible problems that could occur due to such threats. For a successful system it is very important that these systems work with full accuracy. Types When these systems stop working in the correct manner then this could result in two types of problems, the first is called as the false positive type a second is called as the false negative type. In the earlier type the Alarm Systems stops working properly and fails to give signal in case of threat, or even completely stops working. Such a problem in the system can be very dangerous and could result in further problems. The later type of problem is caused when the system gives a signal when in the absence of the threat. This could be the result of some sort of error in the electronic equipments. The home alarm systems are basically of the two major types known as the monitored type and the non-monitored. The monitored type of systems is always on while the unmonitored type is kept on only when required. If any problem is detected then the system will send signals to show the output.
