A child’s education is something that is incredibly important and it’s something that should definitely not be messed around with. The things that they learn in school are all going to influence the type of person that they are going to be when they are older. They are going to use all the skills that you teach them in everyday life and the knowledge that they learn to better themselves and make something of their lives. A teacher’s job is something which is incredibly important, as the things that they learn at school are going to stick with them forever and these are the things that really do make them the person they are going to be. There are so many things that a teacher needs to think about when in the classroom. They have to ensure that they act as a role model for them and not someone that they think they cannot respect. Children should always respect their teacher and it is important that children understand this from an early age. Not showing respect to their teacher involves such things as answering back and not abiding by the rules. For example, if a child is set homework by a teacher, they should feel like they have to do it and should always make sure that it is completed on time. If they feel like they can get away with not doing it, they probably won’t complete it, meaning that they do not have respect for what the teacher is asking from them. A teacher will have to ensure that the children know that they are in charge and that, if they ask them to do something, they really do have to and it’s not something that can be ignored. Planning lessons is also something that is important for teachers to do. This way they can get the most out of a lesson and make sure that they use all the time that they have with that child correctly. If they don’t it will be a waste for them, which should be always avoided in the schooling of children, especially with younger children. Most classrooms nowadays have interactive whiteboards that allow teachers to really get children involved in the lessons that they are giving. They also allow teachers to prepare lessons far in advance, meaning that they can prepare a presentation beforehand and use the whiteboard to show it to all the children in the lesson. Student response systems are so important in classrooms today and classroom technology is really there to benefit both students and teachers.
