Since her official debut to the public for the announcement of the royal engagement, what she wore has been all the time eye-catching. Her wedding dress by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen even caused buzz that replicas were being made within hours after Kate walked down the aisle. Unlike Diana's choice for a luxury and dramatic wedding dress, Kate picked out a relatively subtle style. With delicate lace sleeves and hand-embroidered train, the lace wedding gown was a perfect choice for the new Duchess of Cambridge to showcase the royal image. Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty Speaking of Alexander McQueen, Savage Beauty Exhibit was one of the biggest events of the year. It showed McQueen's approximately one hundred pieces which brought a celeb attraction with a red carpet event.
