These server systems often provide essential services across a network, either to private users inside a large organization or to public users via the internet, for example, in a computer when one enters a query or requests for any kind of information in a search engine present online, the request made is further sent from the computer over the internet to the servers that store all the relevant web pages i.e. the information’s, from where, the information would be processed and through the application server the required information would be provided by the computer to the engineers asking for it, to utilize the information for their further procedures. The results are therefore sent back by the server to the computer. Nonetheless, acting as the host between the information stored within the computers and the engineers in need of the information. Many organizations have servers systems of their own i.e. the server system they work upon would be customized and secured, which are faster than the other servers of other organizations. Well, the operating system acts as the system host, which helps in operating other applications in the computer. Virtually, it is a software which acts as an interface between computer’s hardware and user/ application software. There are varied kinds of operating systems, Linux, UNIX, Microsoft windows etc. For the organization to function appropriately it needs to install perfectly maneuvered computers with perfect operating system.
