So, another general rule is to implement a ?no more than 100,000?rule. This is because there are very few infra - structures that will need to support that many users. What Operating System Do the Applications Require? This answer alone can determine a lot of your deployment strategy. If you are deploying multiple different versions of applications that require different operating systems, you will need to select a virtualization method that accounts for this. On the client side, you can install Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 for implementing more than one operating system. If you want to use the program on the server side, you can include Microsoft SoftGrid. But ulti- mately, the best way to decide how to implement a program is to consider the limitations, MCITP Exams capabilities, and features of the technology. Your exam is going to throw a lot of technology questions at you. At the professional level, Microsoft exams expect you to be extremely familiar with the technology you are dealing with, both from experience and from the MCTS level exams you have already taken. The big secret of profes- sional-level exams is that they throw all these technologies into one exam question and ask you to remember the features associated with the tech- nology and what it can and cannot do. Thus, it’s a really good idea to write down all of the technologies and their high points and then memorize that list. It will really help when the exam throws a dozen pieces of technology at you at once.
