Norfolk is a fantastic spot to holiday, whether it's a saturday and sunday or a whole fortnight. There are miles together with miles of clean, protected, sandy beaches for that you enjoy, the bright lights together with traditional seaside fun of the likes of Great Yarmouth, pretty villages, the beautiful surrounding countryside and get back to dynamics and relax, high quality and thrilling family attractions galore and also the glorious Norfolk Broads, not to mention the historic city with Norfolk itself. The Norfolk Coast area has a good amount of holiday accommodation to choose from, to suit all budgets and family sizes. A centrally located holiday park would make a superb choice from which to explore the place. For that will traditional seaside holiday surroundings, why not visit the lovely town of Great Yarmouth or even Cromer, where you'll consider getting fish and chips, play in the amusement arcades, take a stroll out on the pier, enjoy some friends and family entertainment, experience the hustle and bustle of a traditional seaside town and breathe in that sea air! When you're a thrill hunter, you could even experience the ups and downs of the UK's older wooden rollercoaster ride at Great Yarmouth. You may happily spend hours walking and exploring the area, with your kids or your puppy and not see another soul. There will be much wildlife to see on boating holidays inside Norfolk Broads, especially if you're a fan associated with birds. In fact, the spot has been dubbed the bird watching capital in the UK, so you'll take your element if you're a keen spotter. When you wind your way along the riverbanks of the Bure, Ould like, Thurne, Yare, Chet together with Waveney, you're likely to take in the sight of a few rare birds through your binoculars as well as beautiful scenery. But if you'd like to see the flying pests in greater numbers, why not visit some of the many reserves that dot the spot? Be sure to call in at Norfolk's largest historic woodland, Foxley Wood, that's about 12 miles north of Norwich. The wood is regarded as 6, 000 years old and is a great place to spot rare birds as well as various types of bacteria and butterfly. Another spot popular among chicken lovers is Thetford Forest - Britain's largest lowland pine forest. The maze of trees here houses species such as this tree pipit, woodlark, crossbill and nightjar.
