For those of you that haven’t heard of them, these are essentially huge beach parties that happen every month. With anywhere between 10,000 and 30,000 people, the party begins at dusk and is certainly something that you’ll never forget. As twilight creeps in the small tables are lined up along the beach and thousands of lamps are lit, then as the moon makes its appearance over the white sand beach the party begins. These parties cater for people of many tastes; the music can include trance, techno, drum and bass, reggae, and many more genres. Jugglers and fire-eaters entertain the crowds as the night goes on; these acts are then supported by an impromptu fireworks display. As the hour gets late, (or early as the case may be), there are a number of beach traders that provide food and refreshments than can help revitalise you. These parties have a great atmosphere and are enhanced by the natural beauty that surrounds them.
