When you get in touch with your spirit guide you can actually change your life. You can change the relationships that you have and your view of the world and the things that take place in the world will change. You may have had people tell you that you need a change of attitude. Getting in touch with your spirit guide will provide you with a change of attitude that will be beneficial to you. Once you have decided that you are going to get in touch with your spirit guide you will actually be taking the first step in the process. You have to let your personal guide know that you are ready to acknowledge their existence and that you are now receptive to guidance and instructions from them. When you get in touch with your spirit guide you may at first not realize what is happening. An apparition is not going to appear before you and say here I am. Instead you are more likely to have an intuitive feeling about something or someone. You may just feel deep down in your gut that doing a certain action will be harmful to you. Then again, you may have dreams that tell you things about relationships you are in and about situations you are facing. It will be up to you to heed these intuitions, and feelings, and dreams. Your guide can lead you but they cannot force you to obey. Once you have decided to get in touch with your spirit guide you will have to make time for the being to be able to cut through all of the baggage you carry around and reach you. Try making some quiet time each day when you reflect on the questions you would like guidance with. After you have mentally imagined the question you need answered then attempt to clear your mind and allow the energy to flow through you. Take deep cleansing breaths and deliberately exhale each of these breaths completely. Make a habit of having a short meditation time like this before you are forced into making any decision that could affect your life. Do not let the world pressure you into snap decisions that you could not consult your sprit guide on. If you have to excuse yourself to the restroom and take a few moments to reflect on the problem or situation and allow a few quiet moments so that your guide can show you what they see about the situation.
