While this has been working for many hundreds of years and really does work, psychics have been using the pendulum and other tools of a similar ilk to dowse for information. The success achieved by this method, of course relies totally on the psychic and intuitive abilities of the person holding the tool. I can remember the first time I used this method and my “tool” was a needle stuck into a cork to give it weight attached to a thread of cotton which I held. It was simple, yet extremely affective. When you are using a dowsing method like this you need to word the questions that you ask to enable a simple yes, no or maybe answer. The first thing that you do is set the tool up. By this I mean ask it questions with a yes or no answer to which you already know the answer. In this way you will be able to determine how it answers the questions. Write down which way it answers yes and which way no. Now you have determined how to evaluate your psychic answers. It is extremely important to hold you hand steady at all times. You do no wish to influence the answers. Try a few dummy runs with friends and see how it pans out. I have also tried a similar sort of method to determine the lotto numbers. I had a block of 7 numbers across and 7 numbers down to give me all the numbers on the board of our local lotto. Holding the pendulum steady over each number the psychic spirit said yes to exactly 6 numbers for me by only swinging in a circle over 6 numbers as I held it over them one by one. I must admit it didn’t give me all 6 numbers but it did give me 4 of them. Dowsing has also taken on a new meaning as it has been added to the repertoire of remote viewers as apposed to psychic. There have been several remote viewers achieve great success with dowsing especially on casinos and the stock market. I personally have never tried those two aspects of it and find it interesting at the high success rate they appear to have achieved.
