Recently, Palletways (UK) pleaded guilty to breaching health and safety laws and was fined £60,000, as well as being ordered to pay costs. Meanwhile commenting on the incident, Health and Safety Executive (HSE) inspector Lyn Spooner said: "This was a preventable incident that could easily have resulted in death or paralysis.
