It is a Special Class Railway Apprentice (SCRA) exam, which opens the doors for various lucrative jobs in the Railway Department of India. If the written exam is all about academic knowledge, the personality test will scrutinize all aspects of your personality and test your capability for the required profession. Your final result will depend on your performance in both the stages, after which you are taken up for the undergraduate course in Mechanical Engineering. Once your result is out and you are chosen, you are given further training. Once you are a part of this undergraduate programme, you can bag yourself a seat in the Indian Railways.
