When your toilet has horrible yellow stains to the underside of the seat (sorry again, but it does happen), they can be very hard to shift in spite of bleach and scouring natural powder. The tip that works best is to brew a thick paste made with Napisan powder (find it in the baby product aisle in the supermarket) and bleach. Take care as it is a strong chemical mix. Spread it on the offending portions of the seat (and make sure no one uses the loo for a little bit). After a few hours, scrub the marks and rinse off the paste. Alternatively treat yourself to a new toilet seat! Stores such as IKEA do some very serviceable ones which can be easy to clean together with cheap. Well today you've got no excuse for anything other than a sparkling clean toilet fit for the Queen. . When cleaning a lavatory or urinal, you need certain supplies in order to protect yourself from the elements. The most important thing to show up with, besides an effective cleaning agent, is gloves. Gloves will protect from exposure to harmful bacteria that encircle the inside and outside of the toilet. Proper eye wear is also a must in case any liquid were to splash. In order to scrub away germs inside the toilet or urinal, a toilet brush is essential and effective. Signs are also needed in order to let people know that restroom is being cleaned and to protect all from the possibility of injury, like slipping on the wet floor. Trash bags are essential for disposing of trash and a bucket can be useful. Lastly, it may trigger more waste, but using paper towels or disposable cloths is noticeably more hygienic than running the risk of using laundered cloths or sponges and also the possibility of them not necessarily being disinfected correctly. Now you are prepared to begin cleaning. Display signage to communicate to employees and/or customers that the restroom is temporary closed. Remove anything that is around the toilet or urinal vicinity. This will prevent almost any possible cross contamination. While the seat is down, flush the bathroom . and pour a comprehensive bucket of water in the toilet. This will bring this type of water level down, while wetting the sides with the bowl. Apply the cleaning agent to the inside of the bowl and let it work because you clean the exterior with the toilet. Start at the the top toilet and work your way to the bottom using a disinfecting cleaner and newspaper towels or disposable cloths. Pay special attention to the entire toilet seat. Operate the toilet brush to wash thoroughly under and within the toilet rim and work the right path down to the chute. Close the toilet lid once everything is usually clean and flush the toilet. When cleaning a urinal, you first need to flush so as to wet the interior. Remove any debris or material in the drain of the urinal. Apply cleaning agent to the top of the inside and allow the cleaner to run down the urinal when you disinfect the exterior. Start from the top of the urinal and work your way down the outside, disinfecting every part with paper towels and disposable rags. Scrub the interior with a toilet painting brush thoroughly, working from the superior, down to the drain. Flush and replace your screen, if it has been removed initially, and add a fresh urinal block, if necessary.
