Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative is the largest fertilizer cooperative federation in the world. This is also known as IFFCO. IFFCO was established on the 3rd of November, 1967. The head office is located at New Delhi. There are more than 40000 cooperative members. Its involvement is mainly in producing and supplying various kinds of fertilizers. More than 70 percent of the fertilizers that India consumes are produced by this federation. An advertisement has been released by IFFCO in its official website for recruiting various eligible and qualified candidates. These candidates are mainly required for subsidiaries, joint ventures, future projects and establishments in abroad and India. For these positions, various Indian nationals are invited. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications on the dates mentioned on the website. The mode of submitting the applications will be online. If the applications are submitted through various other means, they will not be acceptable. Given below are the details of IFFCO recruitment: Various posts under different sections of IFFCO are available. The minimum age group of the candidates should be 30. There is relaxation in the upper age limit of ST and SC by 5 years. For the OBC category, the upper age relaxation limit is 3 years. They do not belong to a creamy layer. Training will be for the duration of one year. The candidate must possess a degree of engineering from a well recognized university. This university should be recognized by AICTE and UGC. The candidates belonging to OBC or general candidates have to secure minimum 60 percent marks in all semesters. In case of ST and SC, only 55 percent marks are applicable. Candidates must have passed their graduation one year prior to applying. Candidates who are having a job experience or training for more than one year will be given first preference. All candidates must have a 4 year experience in engineering. This should be in various fields such as chemical, electrical, civil and mechanical. The selection process will be based on a preliminary online test. After the test is cleared, interested candidates have to appear for an online test. When the candidates are shortlisted, an interview will be arranged for them. After this, the selected candidates have to undergo training for one year. After the training is completed successfully, the appointment of candidates will be done at suitable posts. • During the training period, stipend and various other benefits such as medical allowance, LTC, etc shall be paid. This is according to the rule and HR policy of IFFCO. • After one year training is completed, candidates will be appointed for a long term with regular pay scales. • The trainees have to sign a bond before joining. Interested and eligible candidates have to submit an application form for IFFCO recruitment. All the necessary documents such as photographs, education certificates, demand draft of fees, etc, should be submitted along with it. If the application is incomplete or is received after the due date, it will not be accepted and will automatically be a subject of rejection.
