As new research shows that the traditional steady state cardio workouts are not the most effective for burning fat circuit training exercises using body weight and traditional weights are fast gaining popularity. Those of you who check out any particular gym and witness the work of a personal trainer, you can notice that they will get results out of their clients using circuit training exercises at the gym.

So if you need more convincing here are 3 reasons why you should be using circuit training exercises in your fat loss program.

1.Circuit Training Exercises give you a great cardio workout.

When your doing circuits especially just using your body weight you are moving from one exercise straight to the other so there is no time for recovery. What's more, you will use up a lot of your energy and muscle if you make a complete muscle routine that works over everything in one workout. This combination of total body exercises done without rest burns a huge amount of calories is incredibly intense and will have you gasping for breath. Within weeks, your circuit training will have dramatically improved your energy and level of fitness.

2.Circuit Training Exercises Boosts your metabolism for longer

So as we know when doing circuit training we are using up a lot of calories during every workout. The "afterburn" experienced after a workout (the calories your body continues to burn after the workout), is much greater and endures for a greater period of time following the circuit workout's combination of interval training at high intensity and strength. It achieves a larger increase in your body's metabolism as compared to the more traditional cardio exercises. Therefore your body is burning more fat when you are at rest post workout.

3. Your body will look great with Circuit Training Exercises

Given the fact that resistance is used in some fashion no matter what kind of circuit training you do, each workout leaves you with a better musculature and tone. The development of more muscle produces a better looking body but it also results in a trim body because of the higher resting metabolic rate that the workout produces. Having a tighter more defined body is definitely more attractive then the softer and less toned where the muscles have been broken down too much from excessive cardio. With the help of circuit training exercises, you can improve your coordination and strength, and you will become more agile and balanced, given that the program involves a lot of different exercises and routines that assist you.

Circuit training exercises, it is clear, is a great program for me. You can do them wherever you like, and they can vary your workout routines while still getting you the results you want.
