Go for a soft baby blue shirt tucked into a white pencil skirt, along with a pair of white court heels and some colour-coded accessories and you’ll be able to pull off this look without any effort at all, and it will work perfectly in an office environment. Neon is also set to be huge this year, and while you certainly couldn’t go to work wearing a neon blue blazer and some neon pink leggings, you can incorporate it into your look in such a way that it can complement the rest of your outfit. For instance, you could buy yourself a neon handbag or you could paint your nails with neon nail varnish. Another option would be to wear a conservative black dress with a pair of bright red heels, which will make you look amazing no matter what. Animal print will also be on trend for 2012, and you could wear a leopard print cardigan over the top of some dark brown bootleg trousers and a white shirt, which would give you a corporate edge without making your clothing too flat. If you’re after a simple answer, rather than opting for dark colours all the time you could instead go for neutral ones that work perfectly with pale and mid skin tones.
