Before I use Callaway FT i-Brid Irons,it was had to get on in 2 on a par 5 with more than 500 yards in play, but now with these clubs and my favorite driver I have been on more par 5's in 2 than ever before!!!! these clubs are easy to start with even on par 4 and better yet at par 3's, just remember to practice as some of the clubs hit further than your old clubs. on par 3's of 160-180 yds. these clubs are easy to start with even on par 4 and better yet at par 3's, just remember to practice as some of the clubs hit further than your old clubs. on par 3's of 160-180 yds, before i used to use a 5 iron but now have to use a 7 due to the increase club facing. trust me you will feel better when you hit birdie on a long par 5. The appearance of the clubs are great! They however feel clunky and on tight lies. I expected they would be easy to hit but not the case. Also I expected to hit the ball higher but again not the case. The long irons are excellent off a T on par 3's. The set combines three different types of hybrid-esque clubs designed for game-improvement. The 3, 4 and 5 i-brid clubs have an extremely wide sole and a low, deep centre of gravity for extreme levels of forgiveness. The mid and short irons have oversize offset heads with a large hitting area. The whole set has a multi-material construction, which means that the majority of weight is shifted to the heel and toe to create incredibly stable heads. One of the most technologically advanced sets around at the moment, which is why you pay a top-end price. The FT i-brids iron set look like utility clubs and, as expected, they were extremely forgiving, but it did surprise me that I was also able to work the ball easily with them. Every iron was flying at least a club further than I am used to – no bad thing!
