Sony’s target is slightly ahead of its target for sales of the PlayStation 3 in 2011, and they remain committed to its target of 15 million PS3 sales during the financial year to the end of March 2012, it was reported by Sony Computer Entertainment that as of 2nd November 2011 Sony had sold 56 million PlayStation 3 units since launch.
