This is a great place to go for more unusual animals such as alpacas and snowy peacocks. The farm is free to go in and it also houses a garden, café and riding school. Also on the outskirts is Hackney City Farm which houses ducks, cows, turkeys, chickens, pigs, rabbits, sheep and guinea pigs. With an Italian café and deli counter and weekly pottery and textile workshops, there is so much that one can do here. Freightliners City Farm also is home to many animals, even five hives of honey bees. There is a weekly gardening club on Wednesday afternoons for those green fingered folk whilst the free entry means you can buy local honey, fruit and vegetables easily here.
