Description The Taylor Made R9 driver is virtually 24 drivers in one that features Flight Control Technology (FCT) and Movable Weight Technology (MWT) to create complete adjustability for maximum flight control and up to 75 yards of side-to-side adjustability. With FCT, the player may adjust the face angle, the lie angle and effective loft by simple shaft/head adjustments with 8 different clubhead positions to choose from. The MWT allows the player to change the center of gravity (CG) location to promote more accuracy and premium trajectories. It also features Taylor Made’s Inverted Cone Technology which promotes faster ball speeds across the entire face for faster ball speeds and more distance. Its New Classic head shape combines classic and modern lines to create an aesthetically pleasing look from address. Condition Description Clubs in Very Good Condition have been played with and cared for in an appropriate fashion. The markings that you will likely find on Very Good Condition products will show typical wear of models of its age. All of the wear is purely cosmetic, and will not in any way affect the performance of the club. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Very Good Condition: Normal ball marks and scratching on the face; normal scratching on the sole; very light scratches or paint chips on/around the crown. REVIEWS: I purchased the TaylorMade R9 driver from Global Golf a few months ago. “WOW”, what a difference it made in my game. I consistently and confidently hit the ball farther and with a lot more accuracy than before. The only change, if any, I would have purchased the 9.5 over the 10.5 for a little bit lower trajectory. I’m looking forward to trying the new R11, but the R9 will be hard to pry from my bag. Great driver, I highly recommend it. I’m an R9 convert. Or more to the point, I’m an MWT and FCT convert. I have not used my driver regularly in a couple of years. I only pulled it out when I had a shot that either lent itself to a BIG slice or if I had a wide enough fairway not to matter. While no golf club out there is going to “cure” a slice, this one sure as heck does a great job of helping to minimize it. I still get the occasional banana, but they tend to be slightly straighter bananas and during it’s first trip to the range, this club gave me more straight shots than it did fades or slices. And I’ll tell you, it felt GREAT! And I love the ability to fiddle. Great deal from GG on the open box driver and it came with everything, including the wrench. I am a high single digit handicap and I don’t want to talk MOI, MWT, or FCT you can get that from any web site advertising R9 woods. I did my home work, reading reviews and hitting multiple Drivers before deciding to buy the R9 10.5° Driver. First I was looking for a Driver that was accurate, long, and forgiving with some workability – check. Secondly I wanted a Driver that was more traditional looking and confident inspiring with the right feel and sound – check. And lastly I needed a club that would not bust my golf budget, so I bought the R9 Driver from Global Golf in the form of Open Box Returns to get the needed tool and head cover. The service and the clubs were perfect. Oh by the way, the adjustability of the Driver – Bonus. I purchased the R9 3 and 5 woods with the same results. Love golf from my childhood. Do you know any top golf clubs for me? I'm using taylormade r11 driver now, and it's great. Tiger Woods Titleist Golf
