This is the basic way on What, How and Where of the game called golf. WHAT: Basically, golf is played by hitting the ball to its target line from one point to another. Just like any other sports, great skills and passion are some of the criteria a good golfer must possess. HOW: In learning golf, you must learn the most important skills and techniques needed to be a good golf player. And that is doing the perfect golf swing. A perfect golf swing involves not only a good grip of the club but also proper posture, correct movement and mental ability. To learn how to improve your game, keep your mind focused on your goal that is to be able to hit the ball and getting it into the hole. Basically, a perfect golf swing depends on how well you hold the club, and a good club grip can definitely make a difference. By the way, here are some of the most common terms used in golf for beginners and in learning golf you must familiarize yourself with them to be able to understand what Im trying to say here: ? Club equipment used to hit a golf ball. Each club is composed of a shaft with a lance (grip) and a club head ? Club Face – The surface area of the club head used for striking the ball ? Golf course a wide field where golf is being played ? Hole – A circular hole in the ground which is also called “the cup”, 4.25 inches in diameter ? Tee – A small peg, usually made of wood or plastic, placed in the ground upon which the golf ball may be placed prior to the first stroke on a hole ? Backswing – The backward part of the swing starting from the ground and going back behind the head WHERE: Now, its time that you become familiar with where golf is being played. A golf course is a wide field which is consist of a series of holes, each consisting of a teeing ground, fairway, rough and other hazards, and a green with a flag stick (pin) and cup, all designed for the game of golf. Usually, a driving range, which is smaller than a full golf course is where golf for beginners go to practice the basic skills. Learning golf the basic way like practicing for a golf swing will certainly give you that feeling of excitement on how to improve your game.
