A longer club shaftConventional wisdom suggests that a driver with a loner shaft will hit a golf ball farther than a shorter shafted golf driver. The pun is intended. In fact, the center of gravity in the SuperTri is even slightly lower and farther back than the R9 460's. The face is also the deepest TaylorMade has ever produced. TaylorMade states that cheap golf sets are important because the average player is going to have a harder time consistently hitting the sweet spot with such a long club – the Burner SuperFast is 46.5? long, a full inch and a half longer than “standard” and two inches longer than the average driver length on the PGA Tour. Not to be Debbie Downer here, but perhaps someone should point out that shorter clubs are more controllable and better contact is a great way to add distance, too. If the driver's shaft is too stiff, a lighter shaft weight may cause your shot to be short and a bit to the right. The size of the grip is totally dependent on the size of your hands. The bigger the hands, the thicker the grip. If the grip is uncomfortable or irritates your hands, change it quickly.
