When it comes to choosing golf shoes the decision is a very personal choice. The golfer needs to be specific about his selection. Questions about the weather he plays in and the style he likes the look of should be asked. He should also make sure that the shoes are a comfortable fit as he will spend a lot of time wearing them. An important issue to be addressed should also be the price range. A good golf shoe needs to have a good degree of traction, which will ensure the golfer has a good grip on the ground. This will give stability to him so he can take a good swing without overbalancing. Traction is also necessary when playing out of a bunker as it is important that the golfer is well balanced. Golf shoes need to be snug but not tight as they will cause blisters to form. They should be comfortable when walking. Golfers who have had knee injuries might prefer shoes with nubs instead of spikes as this ensures that the weight is evenly distributed. The weather also plays a part in the choice. If rain is the norm then waterproof shoes are essential. At the very least the shoes should be water resistant as every golfer will play in rain or walk in wet grass at some time. When buying waterproof shoes the golfer should check the warranty as the better brands offer up to a two year warranty. Comfort is important as the golfer will be wearing the shoes for a long time. Sometimes he could be walking for over five hours so a shoe that is lightweight and flexible is needed. Some golf shoes have memory foam for added comfort and this will add to the cost. However, some golfers might feel that this is a feature they want. It is up to the golfer to know what he intends to spend on his shoes and then find the best quality in that price range. A more expensive shoe should last longer than a cheaper shoe because of the better material that is used in the manufacture. Style also plays a part here and the golfer should select shoes that please him or he will not enjoy wearing them. Golf shoes fit and feel much like regular sneakers but have spikes on them. Some have soft spikes and others have hard or metal spikes. It is important to find out which spikes are permitted on the golf course before buying shoes. Hard spikes are often not permitted as they damage the greens. Leather type golf shoes have a more classic style but can be less comfortable than sneaker type shoes because they are less flexible. The golfer should try a selection on before deciding what to purchase. This article is from http://www.golfawesome.com Also, We recommend some good top golf clubs to you.
